So I was/am a tenant of a previous core property management townhouse. Because of things that happened in my life I decided to move out. Now this news is coming out about the whole scandal and now I'm here wondering if my lease is technically terminated since the "landlord" has been fired. I called the new property manager and they said that I now need to give them checks for the last two months of my lease. Is my lease not technically void at this point? They didn't give me the status of my security deposit either... Do I still have to honor my lease even though my landlord the person who I signed the lease with no longer works with the property. Seems like the contract has been breached. Any and all advice please!
