Guitar Hero Devs Discuss Sound System's User-Created Songs, Affordable Content, Future Plans, and More

Hello everyone!

Recently we had the chance to speak with the developers of the upcoming rhythm game Sound System, and learn a bit more about the title ahead of its early access release later this year.

As fans of Guitar Hero and Rock Band ourselves, we were pretty excited to learn more about the game, and we hope everyone here enjoys reading as well.

We were shocked to learn the title would support the same note chart format as Clone Hero, and that the team is currently planning on cheaper DLC. While they mention their goal of being roughly $1 songs, they admitted it will depend on licensing, and may not be completely doable. Still, was reassuring to hear.

Hello everyone!

We were given the opportunity to preview the upcoming Directive 8020 and share our thoughts ahead of its full release. We were also provided with a full playthrough to share (we didn't capture our own footage), for those interested in seeing it for themselves.
