First week on Sertraline

I am in the UK.
I have started out on (Zoloft) Sertraline, as it's called here been on it now about a week 50mg.
I have been having some side affects.
First, 3 days all ok, then on day 4 had a massive panic attack and wretched insomnia has set in. It’s like I am wired and body is afraid to sleep. I just can’t drop off, I even took 2 Nytol tablets and got about 2/3 hours, but that is it. I have had to take a few days off work now.
Another symptom I have is that it’s like a switch has turned off my groin down below. No erections at all, peeing has changed, now have hesitating waiting to go, also going for number 2 have to strain a bit more. Things feel different in that area.
Also I also have added nerve sensitivity now, in my arms and legs, though I had Allodynia previously, just wasn’t this bad prior to starting.
Are these common side effects, I understand with SSRI’s you may have to go through a tuff period, to see the light as such, but didn’t think it would be this bad.
