Hi again! A little while ago I posted asking for feedback on my game’s capsule art, and honestly your comments were incredibly helpful. I got a lot of thoughtful critique, and I spent quite a bit of time going through everything people pointed out.

The main issues with my first two versions were pretty clear:
Version 1 felt too dark, hard to read, and didn’t really give that cozy feeling.
Version 2 looked more polished at first glance, but many people said it didn’t match the actual style of my game and had a bit of an AI-generated vibe, which made it feel less authentic and what does it turn away.

Some people suggested combining both versions. Taking the girl from the second one and placing her into the first, brighter composition. I tried that… but honestly, it ended up feeling cluttered and messy. Maybe I just don’t have the skill yet to make that idea work properly.

So instead, I stepped back and made a simpler third version, focusing on what mattered most:

✨ making it brighter, while keeping it true to the in-game art style (I actually sampled colors directly from my game and only pushed them slightly brighter);
✨ making the room itself larger and easier to read at a glance;
✨ redesigning the logo/title treatment. The first version felt too “computer-ish,” the second felt plastic-like and the heart shape made it harder to read;
✨ softening the overall feel with rounded corners for a cozier vibe;
✨ trying to preserve that warm glow / ambient lighting feeling I wanted from the beginning.

So… this is Version 3 😅

What feels stronger now and what still feels off?
What do you like, what don’t you like, and what would you change?

Iʼd really like to get some honest feedback, including brutal honesty 🙌

I'm working on a cozy room decor game and I have a feature that allows you to change the color of individual pieces of furniture/decor, and also save your favorite shades as your own little palette.

Honestly... maybe I went a little overboard with making everything customizable... or not

But there's something strangely satisfying about combining every little thing until the room is exactly how you want it.

Do you like this kind of customization in decor games, or is too many options annoying?

I'm really curious what other cozy game fans think.🙌

Hi! I'm working on my cozy room decorating game and recently redid the capsule art (the main image that people see first).

I drew it myself in Procreate.

I've been staring at it for so long I can't really tell…

Which one catches your attention more?

And more importantly, which one will make you click on the game?

Honest opinions are very welcome (even the cruel ones, lol)
