Applied to Deakin Today for Master of Business Analytics — How Long Does Offer Letter Usually Take?

Hi everyone,

I applied to Deakin University today for the Master of Business Analytics program and wanted to ask about the usual processing timeline.

For recent applicants:

  • How long did it take to receive your conditional/full offer letter?
  • Did Deakin ask for any additional documents after application?
  • Was the process fast or slow compared to other Australian universities?

Would really appreciate hearing recent timelines and experiences from other students.

RMIT Asked Me to Resubmit SOP Twice — Still No Conditional Offer After 1 Month

Hi everyone,

I applied to RMIT on 10 April and since then my application process has been very confusing.

Timeline:

  • 10 April → Application submitted
  • 28 April → Received mail asking to resubmit SOP
  • Resubmitted SOP
  • 8 May → Again received another mail asking to resubmit SOP
  • Resubmitted again

It has now been more than 1 month and I still haven’t even received a conditional offer letter.

I just wanted to ask:

  • Is this normal for RMIT processing?
  • Has anyone faced multiple SOP resubmission requests before getting an offer?
  • Does this mean my application is under deeper assessment?
  • How long did it take others to receive their conditional offer?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through something similar recently.

Building a New Indian Credit Card & Rewards Community — Looking for Early Members

Anyone else feel like Indian credit card discussions are becoming too referral-driven lately?

I’ve been spending a lot of time learning about:

  • cashback optimization
  • reward caps
  • UPI RuPay cards
  • lounge access
  • premium cards like Infinia, Magnus Burgundy, Amex, Atlas etc.

But most places either:

  • repeat the same YouTube opinions
  • focus only on referrals
  • or don’t discuss actual reward optimization in detail

So I recently started building a small community project called “The Swipe Society” focused more on:

  • real user experiences
  • reward calculations
  • hidden caps
  • premium card discussions
  • cashback setups
  • travel & miles strategies
  • bank offer tracking

Neighbour keeps spitting on my car repeatedly — what should I do?

An idiot keeps spitting on my car whenever I park it. He doesn’t do it to any other car, only targets mine. Me and my brother had already seen him doing it once before, but at that time I ignored it and didn’t say anything.

Now it’s happening again and again, so today I warned his wife and told her not to let this happen again. She kept saying “he can’t do this,” so I told her clearly that both me and my brother have seen him doing it.

The issue is I don’t want unnecessary fights or drama because I’ll be going to Australia soon and my parents will be here alone. I just want to handle this peacefully and legally.

What’s the best thing to do now? Install dashcam and collect proof first?
