Finished my first playthrough
Hello there!
Welp, I finished my first playthrough yesterday. Took me 1 week, around 38 hours to finish. I played the game on normal by mistake, including the Indiegogo content (missclicked lol).
I loved the game mechanics. It feels like This War of Mine meets Hotline Miami on pot, but in the woods. Congrats to the team! Funnily enough, I got the game on discount in February 2019 for $2.31 and I hadn't played until now because I was sure it was an FPS (maybe I mistook it for "The Forest"?) and wasn't in the mood.
Ok so basically this is what happened [SPOILER WARNING!]:
>!- Chicken lady: spared. F her brother, didn't look for him.!<
>!- Hostile villagers: massacred them without mercy.!<
>!- Doctor: axed the mofo. Should've treated me better the first time.!<
>!- Wolfman: gave him the Pretty lady's key. He was a nasty psycho, but useful nevertheless. Let him live.!<
>!- Musician: blew his arse up with my shotgun in the corner of "his" hideout before realizing who the thing I found was...!<
>!- Piotrek: found him dead in the junkyard among the wreck of his looney rocket. That made me very sad.!<
>!- Elephants: weird people, I somewhat liked them. Helped them in exchange of the oxigen tank.!<
>!- Shroom granny: ate her up. Shouldn't have blackmailed me and rather let me take the boy back to her mother.!<
>!- Quarry villagers: pitchforked their arses, then dropped the boulder. Took aim with my hunting rifle and shot between the eyes the idiot in the other side of the impassable breach.!<
>!- Cripple: stole his fish... yep, I went full survival asshole. It's terrible that you run past him in The Road and the Protagonist doesn't even try to help him get to the city LOL.!<
>!- Huge snail: axed 'im for being a jerk.!<
>!- Talking tree: burnt it to the ground. PURGE THE UNCLEAN!!<
>!- Final dream sequence: would you believe I got to the mouth almost unscratched, then died by BITE?!<
- Ended the game by Day 53, >!just went to bed...!<
Another giggly note: I never ever fired a single round of my assault rifle because I was saving it for an "important fight"... then I realized there wasn't going to be one LOL.
I already started a new game on Hard difficulty, but I think I can let some time pass before going for another round.
