I’m in the middle of modding a guitar with 1 push pull pot and 1 output jack the push pull would be used as volume and pickup selector but even when I turn the volume all the way down it is still on full volume but it’s acting like a tone pot even though there are no capacitors on it, I’m so lost and have tried everything. does anyone have advice?

Do I have to put a sealer coat on a wood stain for a guitar. And if I don’t what is the worst that could happen?

I have a boss katana 50 and some pedals and when I crank my volume up it sounds amazing but it shakes the walls, is there a way to get that big loud sound without it being too loud
