Foundation book series

I am on the second book of the series. I've also watched first two seasons on the OTT. But books feel so different, so simple and focused more on politics. I first liked the series on Apple, but after reading the series I feel different about it.

Starbucks ground coffee

A friend gifted me this packet. Does anyone know what to expect from this? I'm yet to open it. But it smells heavenly.

Make way for Sambhavam

This was such a fabulous watch. But it has a few obvious flaws. People coming from the past using the same tech from the current times? Walkies the police has been using the same. In the end the girl has latest iPhone model but she's from future. Maybe I'm missing something or it's the wrong. What do you think guys? I hope they fix this in the sequel. The story is so fabulous and so is execution, I hope they fix these mistakes and it'll be a perfect watch.

A friend of mine was going gaga over The Hidden Hindu by Akshat Gupta, so I decided to give it a try. I have been told that this book is very famous and has two more parts. Sure, the story is intriguing, but the writing is so terrible. How Penguin even gave it a go is a mystery to me. I hope the other two books ain't as bad as this one. Why are most mass hits in India these days have terrible writing?

I picked up Ghost Eye mostly because magical realism is one of the rare genres that really pulls me in, and I'm glad I did. It may not be Amitav Ghosh at his absolute best, and you can feel echoes of his earlier themes throughout, but it's undeniably engaging and hard to put down. What stood out to me was how he weaves climate anxiety into something lyrical and almost dreamlike, without losing emotional weight. There's ofcourse lots of fish in the book, I for one loved it. I liked how some of his stories are going back to Sunderban.

If someone picked up this book for a movie, i would want that person to be Shyamalan.

Ps. I'm only half way done with this one. I hope it ends well.

Has anyone ordered full spread from Barbeque Nations or Absolute Barbeque? We have a baby at home and can't go out, but craving for some good food. Let me know about your experience if you've ever ordered from these places.

My friend is born and brought up from Jharia. Later she moved to Pune. Recently applied for passport here, but they're asking for municipality birth certificate. The application won't move further because of that. She has a birth certificate from the hospital but police verification people said that won't count. I'm looking for online services to get it done, but that has hit the road block. It's not possible for her to travel there only for a certificate without knowing what to do or whom to approach. Can someone help? Not looking for agents, but genuine suggestions.
