What is this shelf typically used for? Wondering why it has cut slits.

Using a Adventurer 5M Pro
Print a settings for this print:
- .8mm nozzle
- HS PETG (new fresh spool)
- 245C/75C temps
- 15% infill
It only did this right at the end. All other settings are set at default using FlashPrint.
We will be storing meats in the fridge and the distance between the commissary and the location where we will station is only about 10 minutes away. Do I still need to have the fridge powered during transport? Thanks in advance.
