If you think your job market is bad, try having 14 postings for an entire country 💀
If you are not THIS Cooked, then there’s still a hope for you. I just checked the job boards in my country(Somalia), and there are literally only 14 active listings for the entire nation. 14!!! 💔
Sure there might be some positions that is filled offline but those usually go to relatives or through nepotism an average person has zero chance. Here is the kicker 80% of our population is under 35 and 70% of those young adults are unemployed. We are churning out 10,000 university graduates every single year into a vacuum.
We are beyond cooking. So next time you are complaining about the market in the US, Europe or even Asia, just know it could be worst.
