IIT Madras Spamming Mails but not communicating properly
I had applied for research at two departments at IIT Madras. I got selected for a written test/interview to all of them.
Recently I had been noticing the institution spamming mails like nothing. Only one of the departments sent me an interview date. Now I am not able to track and find out that exact mail, despite numerous efforts of starring them or saving them. There's an email almost everyday. Sometimes, they keep sending reply emails every other day, and there are 6 in a row. It's very difficult to track. I have more than one email from IIT Madras now, but NOT ONE that tells me the exact time, date and venue of interview. Today they sent me a broken link and asked me to check out the details of the interview there. Why can't they stick onto a minimal mail and communicate properly?
There will be one mail from the college today, one from the department tomorrow, one from someone else the next day and finally there will be a professor who sends mail on the 4th day, all sending google form links of the same google form. The part got confusing and self-doubting when there were multiple google forms that collected the same data, which I filled and submitted on time, but I got 5 to 6 mails from one dept alone to ask me to fill that again. 4 days after the last date, they sent another mail saying today is the last date please fill the google form. They said, please ignore if u have already filled the form, once.
The image attached should not be reused. This is probably the 15th email I am getting from them.
Is this institution just another junk of management or administration not knowing how to get things done, have no coordination and confuse students for their lack of ability to stay organized? I have had bad experiences from a national institution like that, so I am just concerned. Please let me know.
