Tooth Infection/Gum abscess still creating puss 3 days after root canal
3 years ago I had a root canal. Couple months ago the crown failed and an infection formed and I had an abscess form on the gum next to the tooth which would build up fluid/puss then express itself every day or so. 3 days ago I saw an endodontist who cleaned up the root canal, put medicine in the tooth, and sealed it back up. The abscess is still filling up with puss. Should this have subsided already, or should I give the antibiotics (Amoxicillin) more time? Thanks.
