Dealing with grain raise using water-based top coat (renner 718)
Hi all,
Happy Easter to you all. I'm having an issue spraying water based top coat (renner 718) and grain raise.
I sand, water pop, sand again (gently) and then spray. After the first coat, I do a light hand sand with 400 grit and spray the second coat. I'm still getting a bit of grain raise after that second coat.
Any solutions I can explore to deal with it?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
fyi, renner 718 has a built in sanding sealer.
