If the province actually wants to assist and gain revenue and assist the whitecaps while keeping the team here... why not just copy the sounders deal that works? they're tenants of Lumen Field and they just simply have a superior deal.

stadium naming rights are a giant revenue stream that could be shared with the long term tenants BC lions and Whitecaps (sounders don't even get this, so that would be a big incentive to keep the whitecaps in Vancouver).

it's been BC place for a long time, but personally I wouldn't really be all that wounded if it became something else Scotiabank/Telus Stadium
