The Rising Pints - Documentary and Band Reunion at Second Home in Fushimi Sunday May 17
Many of the international community of Nagoya may not remember Santa Barbara or know much about the early live music scene of Nagoya during the 90s. This Sunday at Second Home is a chance to see and hear what it was like at this unique event that brings the "older" generation of foreign residents together with those who came here more recently.
The occasion is the screening of the documentary "Rise Up Your Pints!" along with a live music by "The Rising Pints" who have reunited from across the globe to premier the film, play a few sets of Irish folk music - and chat about what it was like for those who came long after they relinquished the stage to all the bands that have followed.
