I am about to build a quite complex application using the Fyne desktop framework, would you recommend anything else (I originally wanted .NET WPF but can't be bothered with C# and I love go way better), have you done a complex production grade desktop app with Fyne?
Complex I mean, multi window, talking to printers etc.

Why in the world are we in 2026 and there is no one unified digital receipts solution?
It's about time we have one big global system, no having to scan with OCR, no spelling out personal emails at checkout desks etc.
Why in the world are we in 2026 and there is no one unified digital receipts app that all the merchants use and customers can scan NFC or use QR code (club card style) when shopping to get their digital receipts?

I just really want to understand why we still waste so much paper every day on something that technology can definitely fix at this point?
