So I was watching Diljit Dosanjh’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and couldn’t help but notice something…

Man proudly repped Punjab (as he should), talked about his roots, culture, music—everything. But not once did he actually mention India. Not even in passing.

For someone representing the country on such a massive global platform, it felt… intentional? Or at least noticeable enough to raise eyebrows.

Is this just strong regional pride or a very calculated branding move where “Punjab” is the identity he wants to push internationally? Because at this point, it’s becoming a pattern across interviews.
