The absolute hysteria over AI on this site is getting embarrassing

I figured I would treat you fellas to a proper unpopular reddit opinion:

It’s hilarious to me that one of the most tech-forward corners of the internet has pivoted into a full blown Luddite cult. People here treat the mere mention of AI like it’s "the technology which shall not be named."

AI is functional tech that is already being baked into every piece of software we use. While everyone is busy screaming "AI SLOP" into the void, the rest of the world has already moved on and is actually using it.

Judging AI by some weird-looking fingers or a bad bot post today is like looking at dial-up and saying the internet would never catch on. We’re at the start of the messy, early majority phase. Give it 2 or 3 years and it’ll be as mundane as a smartphone. Most of the people complaining right now will be using it daily and won't even notice.

To summarize, the pearl-clutching is just exhausting. It’s here, it’s staying, and no amount of "reddit moments" will put it back in the box. You can either learn to use the tools or spend the next decade being like my grandparents who we need to tape off buttons on the TV remote for.
