Bunk Reta or just be patient?
Hey hey! Next week I’ll be entering my 3rd month on Reta and I’m feeling a little discouraged. I keep seeing posts of all theses super responders and people dropping huge amounts of weigh, but it’s simply just not happening for me. I realize I could be a slow responder, but I’m wondering if maybe my Reta is bunk?
Im using a single vial supplier, vetted from a friend who uses them for Triz. I started at 2mgs for the first month and have upped it to 4mgs for the second month. Going up to 6 next month.
It’s like I build a tolerance SO quickly. I really only feel the affects on my first shot. I couldn’t believe how much suppression I initially got at 2mgs, but by the end of the week my full appetite was back. I trusted the process and continues on for a full month, but wasnt feeling much of anything.
Upped it to 4mgs last month and same affect! Great appetite suppression, but by the end of the week, it fell off. I started pinning every 6 days to see if that helped and it kind of did. I still have mild suppression, and im not eating as much as normal, but it’s not this powerful feeling everyone describes.
I haven’t checked the scale because I’ll get really discouraged if I don’t see the numbers move, but I have noticed some small changes, mainly in my face and feet.
But anyways, I know building a rapid tolerance is a sign of degraded product, and/or maybe I’m just someone who needs a higher dose?
Im in the process off going grey. but it’s a lot of research and I’m still navigating it all - so I guess Im looking for those who have a similar experience as me, ir those of you who needed a higher dose to really see the thermodynamics kicking in.
Stats - 41, 5’5, apx 260. I walk 5x a week, yoga & Pilates 4x a week + active job. My eating habits are okay. I’ve DEFINITELY adjusted to smaller portions and better choices since starting Reta but I’m not insane about counting macros - thinking about really starting to track next week for more efficiency.
