NBA 2k26 just for singleplayer

The game is on sale for like 7USD on steam, which is the lowest it has ever been. Is it worth it for the price?

For context, I'm a huge nba/basketball fan. Been a fan since I was a kid but never owned a 2k game before just because I didn't have the money/the console. So yea I've been wanting to play things like MyCareer/MyNBA.

From what I've saw online some downsides is that MyCareer requires online connection which is a bummer. So like in a year or so when servers shut down, I won't be able to play the game anymore. Is there a workaround for this? With mods and all. I also heard it's pretty grindy even for the campaign. (I am not planning to spend money on VC) Is it even worth it if I can play MyCareer later in the future?

Even for all the downsides, it's the game worth it? I've heard that I am able to get the older versions from the internet. is that a better option? Or should I save that 7 bucks. Let me know your opinions, thanks!

Edit: I have a Nintendo Switch 1 too which has NBA 2k, when the servers shut down does it also mean I can't play MyCareer? (I'll have to pay more to get the switch version)

Where to go after investing in VWRA (ETF)

I am 18 this year with some amount of savings. I've decided that starting to invest early might be a wise decision because of the compounding factor etc.

I will be continuing my studies soon, so probably no income for the next few years but I do get some allowance here and there from scholarships etc. After I did some research I decided to just do the 'VWRA and forget' strategy for now which seems to work pretty well long term. (I have about 200USD in the ETF rn and am planning on adding more soon.)

My question is, if I were to start working in the future, how should my investment plan be/how do I expand my portfolio? Should I just continue with this strategy of just investing in ETFs and maybe invest in specific sectors of ETFs or should I go into investing in stocks etc. Sharing your experience with me/opinions would help me a ton. Thanks!

So I didn't get accepted to any government pre-U like matriculation and all which is a bummer.

I got 7As 3B+ for SPM (As for all STEM subjects but Bs for BM, Moral and Arts) So I guess the only other option left is STPM.

Form 6 is starting on the month of June, so about a month from now. I think that I will probably try a lot harder compared to how I studied for SPM.

Any tips and resources anyone could share? I am planning on maybe studying a little before the semester starts. Is it a good idea? Anywhere I could search for some helpful resources? How should I study/write my notes etc?

I'll probably be taking Physics, Chem, Further Maths and Pengajian Am.

Thanks in advance.
