How do most people set up their automations with their smart lights?

I personally use SwitchBot Presence Sensors in the kitchen (I'm getting two more for my living room and entry way) that turn my lights on when I walk in the room and turn off when I leave. They work well, but there is a good 1-2 second delay. I have my bedroom lights come on automatically 20 minutes before sunset and turn off automatically at bedtime. How does everybody else do it? I am curious to see how most people set theirs up. I am also considering smart buttons for my closet lights.

David Stearns is the real problem; not Carlos Mendoza

Ever since the beginning of the offeason David Stearns has made some extremely head scratching moves. He says he's promoting "run prevention" yet nearly every player on the team is playing out of position. He let the best hitter in baseball walk, made a foolish decision by signing a no name closer to a contract so expensive that it forced Edwin Diaz to leave the team; traded away a Brandon Nimmo who is capable of hitting 25 HR at least for Marcus Semien who can barely hit and signed two shortstops to play both Third Base and First Base and we still have no DH. He should have traded away Kodai Senga a long time ago and why they traded two top prospects for Freddy Peralta; a one year rental at best who they never had any intent to extend. I am sorry, I know it's an unpopular opinion, but everybody is always ripping on Carlos Mendoza, but I think the real problem is up in the front office with David Stearns.

Does anyone else find it amusing that the Google Pixel 11 will likely be a downgrade from the Pixel 10, which was also a downgrade from the Pixel 9?

I remember I bought my Pixel 9 256 GB in November 2024 and thought it was an awesome phone and although I occasionally wish I had gone for the Pro model, I am impressed by the camera and because the camera on the Pixel 10 is a total downgrade from the Pixel 9, I did not upgrade. I also have been hearing that the Google Pixel 11 will only have 8 GB of RAM, a downgrade from the Pixel 9 and 10's 12 GB. Because of this, I will hold on to Pixel 9 for another year. I take really good care of my battery and it is still at 100% battery health (it has been as low as 96% before, but has gone back up after the last few updates) and I could really keep using this phone for a long time if I keep it in this good shape. All in all, I made a smart purchase.
