Lithium (Rhythm Core Alpha 2 version)

Lithium remade entirely on Rhythm Core Alpha 2, a DSiWare chiptune application released by SoftEgg on June 20, 2013 (August 15, 2013 in Europe and Australia). As of March 27, 2023, you can't get Rhythm Core Alpha 2 anymore because Nintendo shut down the eShop for the Wii U and 3DS family of systems, while their online service ended on April 8, 2024.

I will say this, let's hope I don't have to remake this song anymore because my goodness, it was quite infuriating to remake after all these years. Thank god this song was played with a click track just like the Timon Marmex song "Hello Sailor", which you can actually hear it play in the background while they sang the lyrics to the song.

If Kurt Cobain was in EarthBound, here would be his stats…

In the first fight with him after getting Jeff from Winters:

HP: 1500
PP: 500
Offense: 45
Defense: 75
Guts: 50
Speed: 70

His strengths and weaknesses:

PSI Fire: 25% damage
PSI Freeze: 50% damage
PSI Flash: 0% chance of success
Paralysis: 10% chance of success
Brainshock: 0% chance of success
Hypnosis: 99% chance of success

His moveset:

PSI Shield Alpha, Brainshock Alpha (causes one party member to feel strange), Glare with his eerie eyes (which causes one party member to be Diamondized), PSI Magnet Omega, Replenish a fuel supply (Lifeup Gamma without using PP) and PSI Starstorm Alpha

In the rematch with Ness by himself in Magicant, Kurt has three forms: Weak, Average and Strong

Weak form:

HP: 1000
PP: 0
Attack: 10
Defense: 100

All he does is attack and his guts is 255.

Average form:

HP: 2500
PP: 0
Attack: 225
Defense: 75

He can fire a missile which causes himself to feel dizzy, big damage to you. He loses his temper which raises his offense. He can Diamondize you, which is why I recommend the Rabbit's Foot over the Sea Pendent. And of course, replenish a fuel supply once again. Be thankful in both of these forms, hypnosis is 99% chance of being successful

Strong form:

HP: 10000
PP: 999
Attack and Defense are both 255
Strengths and Weaknesses are the same except Hypnosis is now 50% chance of success while Brainshock is 10% chance of success. So yes, if you are lucky, Kurt can turn himself into a Diamond while feeling a bit strange despite being only 10% chance.

His attacks in the strong form are: Glare with his eyes (IYKYK), PSI Shield Beta (Psychic Power Shield), PSI Starstorm Omega, Brainshock Omega, PSI Magnet Omega and Replenish a Fuel Supply (I know, I know, he loves healing himself back to full).

Upon death, Kurt explodes like the Atomic Power Robot and Nuclear Reactor Robot.

His theme song would be Otherworldly Foe
