High blood pressure, day 5

Anyone else get a blood pressure spike during withdrawal? Since I quit I have been tracking my BP at home, and it has been higher than normal consistently. Today’s day 5 sober for me, and today at my annual physical my BP was 141/101. I’m typically around 110/70. My (new) provider did agree that this can happen during withdrawal, and advised me to track my BP at home over the next 10 days until our follow up appt. I also have a headache and slight lightheaded feeling but I’m functioning fine. She didn’t seem too concerned otherwise. My anxiety is telling me that I should be worried even though my provider isn’t very worried, and I know this can happen. If you experienced this, how long did it take to come back down?

Day 2, feel miserable

Yesterday was my first day of completely not smoking at all; I usually smoke around 9am for the first time of the day, and then throughout the day, and this is how day 1 went with no smoking: I had a headache building up the second half of the day and less of an appetite than usual, and then last night (almost exactly 24 hours since last use) I got extremely sick. Throwing up a ton, headache much worse. I slept ok overnight, but today on day 2 I have been throwing up throughout the day with the headache off and on and no appetite. Is this from withdrawals or am I just ironically sick at the same time? This is the longest I’ve gone since intending to quit! 31F smoking 80% vapes throughout the day for 7+ years
