I'm backpacking across Uzbekistan for 21 days. I'm almost at the end of my trip pero di parin ako nag enjoy haha. Explain ko bakit.
Masungit haha na culture shock siguro pero they have a really cold demeanor. Siguro kasi english is not widely spoken, 10 years ago lang nag open for tourism, and USSR era. Ma smile ako na tao so feeling baliw ako dito haha
Racist or curious lang. I like to think na curious lang. I get a lot of stares, mapabata man o matanda, babae o lalake. For context, i'm very tanned kasi I came from Sri Lanka rin. Racist kasi I am traveling with some few people from the West and they almost only acknowledge them. Di ako kinakausap kahit naririnig naman nila ok yung english ko. Ewan basta I had uncomfortable vibes pa minsan minsan.
Apaka oily ng pagkain! Haha kahit normal rice sobrang oily parang suman haha hit or miss din pagkain nila depende kung anong restaurant at saang lugar. I mostly eat their national dishes, so if may alam kayo na dish nila na di oily, reco naman jan hehe
Lastly, i work online. Most of the time ang bagal sobra ng wifi nila and naiinis ako kasi ang tagal mag connect ng VPN ko jusko hahaha every time mag sstart ako ng work, na ffrustrate ako lagi. Dalawa na nga gamit kong VPN lol
Meron naman maganda dito syempre. Architecture and history nila, solid. Yung train din kahit low class ang linis!!! Tapos on time palagi. Maganda din shopping dito haha maybe this country is just not speaking to me but i'm still happy I came here..na feed yung curiosity ko hehe
