Are realistic insect paintings allowed?

I freaking adore treehoppers! All in acrylic by me!

I even managed to get my phone to zoom well! Such a good model too! They're not native to my area and do cause a bit of damage predating on native bees and wasps, but I don't worry about them because I can guarantee you the shit we humans do is the real problem, not these goobers.

Size) about an inch

Color) golden browns

Wings) yes, yellowish white colored

Found) on ground on sidewalk.

Location) upper Michigan. It has just started to get warm and the grass is just starting to grow. It was about 70 degrees today.

Temperate) super chill, tried to stick onto the sidewalk when I tried to pick them up. They proceeded to vibrate and I could feel it on my hand! It was amazing!

Found at night. Must be nocturnal as they are never out during the day.

Found in an urban setting.
