I built a Chrome extension that bypasses Canvas tab switching detection

I’m the developer behind extension called Canvas Crack.

Originally built it for myself after getting tired of Canvas tracking every little thing during online exams.

What annoyed me most wasn’t even the exams themselves, it was the tab monitoring. You open another tab for 2 seconds and suddenly there’s a “student left the quiz page” event logged. Felt ridiculous.

So I made a lightweight extension that prevents Canvas from detecting tab switches/background activity entirely. You can switch between ChatGPT, Google, notes, whatever you need, and the logs stay clean.

Didn’t really expect anyone else to care about it, but I posted it in a few student Discords and it spread pretty fast. Apparently a lot of people were equally paranoid about those activity logs.

If you have any questions or suggestions, I’d be happy to answer them or clear up any doubts.

Which country has the most beautiful islands you’ve ever explored?

I’d love to hear your personal and subjective opinions! Are you more into the tropical, palm-tree vibe or the rugged, rocky islands with hidden coves? Which one truly left an impact on you

Just well taken photo or Ai?

It's giving me mixed vibes. I don't know what to think about this one.

Which US state has the most beautiful state parks that no one talks about?

I keep seeing photos of famous national parks, but I want to know about the local gems. What state blew you away with its underrated nature? Would love to hear which park left the biggest impression on you and why.

What do you guys think? Ai or not?

I personally say it's Ai because of her looks to me she kinda looks like an Ai model.

Is this art real? When I tried looking into the picture a bit more it started to like like Ai, maybe just an art style?

I need help with sorting this one out.

Any CDL owner-ops or OTR drivers in here running a small GPS tracker on your truck? I'm parked at some sketchy lots overnight and want something reliable for live tracking without breaking the bank.

Came across GPSWOX and their monthly plans look decent. Anyone actually used it? Does the signal stay solid across states or drop like crazy in the middle of nowhere? App any good or straight trash? Battery life hold up okay on long hauls?

Real driver feedback only, no sales pitch. Thanks boys.

I visited my regular dentist after like 2 years and they told me my gums are in bad shape and referred me to a periodontist. i'm just confused and overwhelmed tbh.

I see some bleed when i brush but i always just assumed that was normal lol.

our team has been running aircall for about 4 months now with a team of 8 SDRs. the integration with salesforce is pretty smooth and the analytics dashboards are helpful for tracking call metrics.

the actual call quality varies though. sometimes crystal clear, other times we get weird echoes or drops. happens maybe 10-15% of the time which isn't terrible but gets annoying during important calls. their support is decent - usually respond within a few hours.

pricing feels a bit steep at like 30-50 bucks per user depending on features. we're hitting about 150-200 calls per rep daily so the unlimited minutes matter. local presence dialing works well for most US markets.

anyone else having the quality issues? we've tested our internet extensively so pretty sure it's on their end. also been comparing aircall against other outbound calling solutions like dialpad and ringcentral. even looked at Prospeo recently since we need better direct dial numbers for our lists - their mobile number coverage seems way better than what we're getting from Apollo right now.

Hey guys! :)

Some gaming laptops look perfect on paper.

But then when you actually live with them they get annoying - too loud, too heavy, bad battery, etc etc.

That is why I think some laptops win the product page battle and lose the real-life battle.

I am think about getting a Zephyrus G16, Legion Pro 7i, MSI Stealth, XMG Neo 16, or Dream Machines RT5070-15NA22 - all of these look great for different reasons.

What gaming laptop looked amazing on paper and then got annoying in real life?

And what was the thing that ruined it for you? eager to learn!
