Rtx 5070 vs. 9070xt - frame pacing, stuttering, smoothness - which card wins?

Sorry if this was talked about many times, but i cant find clear info on this. I can get either gpu for the same price. Currently im actually running 5070. But i have the chance to refund it.

Im wondering if the frame pacing and 0,1% lows are the same? I know on paper and in benchmarks 9070xt wins.

But How does nvidia feel compared to amd at the end of the day? Which one feels more smooth? Are there differences in rendering like colors?

Also the only ai tech i care about is upscaling. Frame gen is not so important to me.

Thanks

No Scaling for lower input lag and better motion clarity

I just discovered something that completely changed my gaming experience.

In nvidia control panel change to no scaling, keep scaling done by display, leave the box unchecked.

My games frame pacing improved so much its insane. The input delay is also lower.

I think the reason is that some monitors have bad software which adds delay. The scaling has effect even if u play on original resolution. Its still processing the image.

Avoid gpu scaling as it adds input lag.

This is all very small impact but if u play games like cs, or use controller you will definitely notice a big difference.

A lot of ppl debate about this. A lot of them say this makes no difference. Dont listen to them. Change it a few times back and forth and play a fast paced game like cs2 or doom or some racing game. Try it with controller as even a slightly higher input latency is very noticable to feel when aiming with the sticks. On mouse u dont care so much about a small difference as long as u are not a cs player.
