150K€ to 1,680,000€ in 9 years!! When do I sell? lol

I never had a clear goal like this. I just started with €150K, kept things simple, and let time do most of the work. Only recently did I realize how much it had grown.

One thing that made a big difference: I kept investing regularly, even when the market felt uncomfortable. That consistency mattered more than timing anything.

At this point, the real question became: when do you sell something like this?

78K to $957K in 10 years!

Most of my gains came from two main sectors:

  • Healthcare: steady growth, reliable cash flow, long-term tailwinds
  • Energy: cyclical, but when you catch the right moments, the upside is huge

I keep it simple:

  • Companies with real cash flow and a solid moat
  • No options, no leverage
  • Watching what top investors buy, not random tips
  • Holding for the long term, letting compounding do its thing

Oil–equity correlations break during supply shocks (chart since 1988). Are we entering another one? How large could the downside risk for stocks be this time?⛽

History suggests not all oil surges are the same.

When oil rises on demand strength → equities usually hold up.
When oil rises on supply shocks → equities tend to struggle.

With the current Iran-related risk evolving, the setup looks closer to past supply-shock episodes than demand booms.

Question is: How large could the downside risk for stocks be this time?
