I’ve been trying to learn English for several years already, but I still can’t do it properly. Maybe someone knows how to really learn a language on your own and what actually helped you?

Where is the best place to start?

How did you learn vocabulary, grammar, and speaking?

What apps, YouTube channels, movies, or methods actually work?

How much time per day should I spend on it?

And how do you stay motivated and not quit after a week?

Hi! What is it like studying architecture at Politecnico di Milano overall? What is student life and the general atmosphere like there? What should I know before applying, and what should I prepare in advance?

How are the relationships with professors, and what does the learning process look like? What is the first day at the university usually like? What things can really help during studies and make student life easier?

Also, what is life in the dormitory like? Is it comfortable to live there, meet people, and balance studying with everyday life?

I would really appreciate any advice, experiences, or opinions from current or former students 😊

W następnym roku zaczynam studia i prawdopodobnie będę mieszkać w akademiku. Nigdy wcześniej nie mieszkałem/am z obcymi ludźmi i trochę nie wiem, czego się spodziewać 😅

Jak wygląda życie w akademiku z waszego doświadczenia?

Co najbardziej was zaskoczyło — pozytywnie albo negatywnie?

Jakie rzeczy warto zabrać ze sobą?

Jakie macie rady, żeby nie zwariować ze współlokatorami i dobrze się odnaleźć?

Chętnie poczytam też o:

kuchni i łazienkach wspólnych,

hałasie i imprezach,

prywatności,

organizacji miejsca,

rzeczach, których żałujecie, że nie zabraliście na początku.
