For someone who gets Scott so well it baffles me how often Claremont refuses to write anything post Dark Phoenix. Often “retiring” or taking sabbaticals, to straight up leaving after he marries Maddie.
But in this mini, not only does he immediately side against Madeline and remains the leader who won’t give up a single person in order to win the day, but he just straight up blasts the ever-loving piss out of an actual God. He just doesn’t care who or where, if Scott Summers is positioned to stand on his morals he will. God he’s so cool, also he looks dapper as hell in this mini.
I took a small break reading X-books to read through Bendis’ Daredevil (that run took over my life for a month) but now after this I’m excited for Scott to hopefully be back more and I have the first volume of the X-factor “Original X-men run” omni to read after too.
Scott Summers is the goat was the entire purpose of this post btw lol.
