Went Crazy for Ramps
Generally I try to sustainably harvest my local nature preserves. I only go for leaves, and only one leave per pod. But I found what I could only describe as a field of ramps today. And gosh darn it I wanted some bulbs. I looked it up and apparently its healthy to preserve ramp populations by harvesting a bulb here and there to make room for new bulbs. I cannot wait to make a brine for gin with these.
