If you only want invisalign because they are "less ugly" and won't restrict your diet, get braces.

I had invisalign for 2 years and it was living hell. I had braces for 1 year and it was genuinely amazing.

Invisalign gives you..

- Considerably more expensive

- Keep track of your trays

- Clean your trays

- Remember to switch them!

- Brush + floss every meal b4 putting them back in

- Are bulky and can give you a noticable lisp, even after years with them

- Taking them out to eat can be gross and cumbersome, and you must bring a container.

- External factors like mental health or losing them can prolong your treatment.

- Aren't invisible, less people noticed I had braces than Invisalign.

Braces gives you...

- All you have to do is exist.

- Brush your teeth as normally

- Slight changes in how you floss

- Considerably cheaper

- You can eat most anything, just know how to chew.

- Don't give you a lisp, aren't as bulky.

- Can't lose em, no container needed.

- Don't gotta Brush or floss everytime after eating (its beneficial yes, but not a requirement).

- literally no one cares that you have them on, they are a normal stage.

NOW, they are legitimate reasons to get invisalign. But personally, my experience with braces was significantly better than with invisalign as a teen.

This is mainly for other teens.

I don't have a job yet and my two siblings and parents are all meat eaters, so I have to be contentious about how much I'm spending on my diet.

How much are yall spending a week/month on meals?

Thank you!
