Hi all.

Just after some advice really.

My wife is going to be flying from NYC to Dublin as she’s bringing dogs over and they can’t be flown direct into the uk (stupid imo) so we’d have to get a ferry over. My question is has anyone ever done this before? Was there any issues during this experience ?

Hoping someone in here can clear a question I have up, my wife (US citizen) and I (uk citizen) have recently applied for her Visa (06 may for reference) however we want to spend some time together, would it be possible for her to visit on a visitor visa that’s still valid aslong as when approved she leaves the uk? Would she be able to just go to France or the Republic of Ireland or would it have to be back to the USA

Hopefully someone here would be able to clarify, last year my wife and I went to a immigration solicitor who informed us that when approved if applied for from within the uk, she’d have to leave the country at the time and then return. Would she have to return to the USA? Or just leave the uk
