Presence - A visual poem
A few months ago, I was in a very different headspace. I was dealing with a pretty intense art block, but my mind hadn’t stopped processing everything I was feeling.
Around my birthday, when emotions tend to surface for me, I made this as a kind of visual expression of self-acceptance. It ended up being a small but meaningful breakthrough. Not something sudden, but more like something that had been quietly building over time until I found a way to put it into visuals.
I’m still new to filming and figuring out how to create scenes that tell a story. I’m especially drawn to finding meaning and beauty in everyday moments, and this was my attempt at expressing that through visual poetry.
I wasn’t sure about sharing this because it felt too personal, but I decided to put it out there anyway. If it resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts or feedback.
