I’m kinda curious about something.

Do you think a BL story would work if it was from the POV of a cheerful/sunshine-type guy who falls for a senior that’s also gentle, calm, and friendly?

So instead of the usual cold × loud/opposites dynamic, both characters are soft and approachable in their own way. More wholesome slice-of-life vibes than heavy drama.

Would you personally watch something like that? Asking because this anime genuinely got me inspired to start creating again, and I’ve been thinking about making a small BL story with this kind of vibe someday.

(I’m also a huge sucker for mundane everyday humor; kinda like Shin-chan style comedy where small daily situations become really funny and expressive.)

This anime honestly reminded me how much I used to love drawing and making small animations. The characters and overall vibe made me feel creative again in a way I haven’t felt for a long time.

So now I’m curious, is there any kind of BL story/dynamic you’d love to see as an anime someday?

Personally, I’d love something inspired by Yukito and Touya from Cardcaptor Sakura; childhood best friends who eventually start dating, with the story mostly from the top’s POV as he goes through daily life while trying to keep his silly little boyfriend out of trouble.

Also, I’d love a story from the POV of a cheerful/gentle guy like Hirose having a crush on someone who’s also gentle and cheerful instead of the usual opposite-personality dynamic. And Tamura also is a very interesting character in this anime (Drama club).

And honestly, the type of humor I love most is Shin-chan style humor. Silly, expressive, slightly chaotic, but still weirdly wholesome and charming at the same time.

Curious what kind of stories everyone else wants to see.

Just curious, are you all gonna watch it subbed or dubbed?

Personally I always watch stuff in the original language with subtitles, so I’ll be watching this in Japanese too. I’m kinda sensitive to some English voice tones/accents because of misophonia, so dub can be hard for me sometimes 😭

Also asking because I’m planning to make my own BL animated series for YouTube someday, so I wanted to see what people usually prefer when it comes to language/voice acting.

And if anyone has advice on getting more used to dubs or dealing with voice sensitivity, I’d appreciate it!
