Need travel advise from Locals

I am planning a workation in thailand for a month. I am into photography, dont drink and love peace amidst mountains and beaches.
Can you all please help me give some advice for which regions to target for my workation in thailand, along with the budget for a solo traveller (stay - food - travel - exploring thailand).
