How did/do you do it? I (36F) haven't dated for a long while for various reasons. I fall under the sapiosexual category. The trouble is, in my experience, men who put this in their dating profile do so bc this is the latest fad or thing to do. Meanwhile I'm made fun of for casually holding miscellaneous knowledge and pondering various quantum problems. How do any of you date genuinely without an immediate disconnect or limerence that is easily washed away by willful ignorance.
I genuinely want a partner and friend. I'm not traditionally fun or exciting. I'd rather read books and watch science youtube and read peer reviewed studies.
