Growing. Spammed small villages. Trying a subtle transition between city and suburbs.

150k pop atm. 1% unemployed. 80% traffic flow. No polution.

On the left you have the plaza that connects the station to the commerce area/lake, and on the opposite side you have another plaza that leads to major education facilities.

Update:

Roundabout lanes reduced.

Mid residencial removed from the center of the round about.

Thank you!

While working on the transition between my delta city and the countryside, a sudden water disaster struck—demanding immediate mayor attention :P

A lot of cities have dozens of major churches that played a huge role in how the city grew and how space is organized. Pretty much every historic city has layers of development, with churches from different periods, religions, and architectural styles. So why doesn’t CS2 or mod include more of that? Things like churchs with dif sizes but same style, chapels, domes, mosques, castles, more churchs or even medieval defensive walls feel kind of underrepresented. Is there a reason for that, or am I just missing something? I’m sharing a few shots of some historical areas I’ve been working on in my WIP Delta city. Also… is Notre Dame presence in this city a bit too much?

Hello! I’m currently working on finishing this city. Right now it has around 600k inhabitants, and my goal is to reach 1 million. In this build, I prioritized tower placement and spacing. I’ve realized that, in this game, a city looks much better when light can pass between buildings. Also, the way shadows from tall towers overlap can make the city feel darker and a bit gloomy. Because of that, I’ve tried to avoid placing skyscrapers too close together—unlike the dense layouts you might see in cities in China or Japan. Thanks for watching!

Almost finished the historic center of my port city. As suggested by another member before, smaller channels were added. I am amazed how trafic is good in the city with the boat help.
