I am going to start playing a legacy challenge but there is one thing I can't seem to make my mind about: Population and age management.
I am not sure if I should get the story progression mod or age up the townies myself. I assume from what I've seen people usually add a batch of townies and add more as needed as the generations continue. But I really don't like the idea that i am going to see the same people 10 gens later. Obv I can age them myself, but that might be too much of a hasstle? I am also going to play a lepacy, so the family will be moving to different different game hoods, and I kind of want to keep the premades, but i don't want to also manage them and turn it into a half rotational save.
This is why i thought maybe story progression mod might be really helpful, but I've also read a few posts saying its not very intuitive and kind of not optimized?
So how do you play a legacy in the sims 2? Do you just get new batches of townies every gen? Or do you just keep the same ones until you run out? Have you used story progression, did you like it? Would it work for a 10 gen neighbourhood?
Thanks to anyone who read this far 🙏
