Hi all,

I was recently diagnosed with Adenomyosis, and have had PGAD symptoms of constantly feeling like I have to pee since childhood. Its not really painful, more a nuisance than anything. However, my mom and I share a lot of urinary characteristics anatomy wise, and she has PGAD, PCS, fibroids and chronic pelvic pain. So I'm sort of trying to get ahead of possibly going down the same path.

I had a consult with an IR that only agreed to look for PCS with venogram and tilt table if I would agree that if anything was found I would okay the use of surgery with coils that same day. Through the groin and neck I think?

But I dont think he will look for MTS or NCS which I mentioned. I'll have to clarify.

I'm wondering, how the process works with the coils and recovery?

He made it seem quick and painless. But I was off work for almost all of last year due to a different issue and now work part time, so I cant afford to take a ton of time off.

What are your thoughts?

Hi all,

I just started Double Wood brand lactoferrin (its actually bioferrin), has 17 mg of iron in it, the rest as lactoferrin. Its 250mg total, but I started at 1 pill instead of 2 per day about 3 days ago, started for low ferritin and low iron saturation.

I've noticed a little more acne than normal popping up, having only taken it twice so far. Has anyone had this side effect and does it go away the longer its used?

I'm not lactose intolerant as I can eat cheese, yogurt, etc without issue.

Hi all,

I just got diagnosed with adenomyosis via pelvic MRI.

Since endometriosis is a co morbid disease of adeno, is it worth doing a laparoscopy just to see if you have it?

So far I have urinary urgency, incomplete bladder emptying, and occasionally a feeling of pressure or fullness in the vagina.

This also coincides with possible bladder irritation from starting vitamin c with zinc with iron for anemia, so it could just be that or something like interstitial cystitis, which usually means a cystoscopy needs to be done.

Just very confusing if its the adeno only or not causing these symptoms.
