Eye makeup ideas & techniques that work well with glasses

Eye makeup ideas & techniques that work well with glasses

Hi everyone, I looking for some ideas and inspiration on how to do my eyes and eyebrow for a wedding. Because of how strong my prescription is, the lenses make my eyes look tiny and I don't know what to do to counter this (see picture). Someone recommended lashes to me but that also may be tricky as they tend to hit my lenses when I blink. I just want my eyes to pop out a little more.

Another problem for me is applying the make up itself. This is extremely tricky as I can't see past my nose. I have to put my face right infront of the mirror but then it's really awkward to fit my eyeliner/pencil to do my eyes. So it takes me way too long to apply make up as I have to stop and put my glasses on to check, and then fix things up and repeat, which is why I don't normally bother.

Is there a secret technique or tool that I don't know about that can make this problem slightly more bearable? I know people always say wear contacts but my eyes are too bad to wear them.

I loved these frames in store but having second thoughts.

I've been banned from wearing contact lenses so I needed a new glasses. I tried on these bold tortoiseshell cat-eye frames in the store and absolutely loved how they looked.

Then my prescription lenses went in and now I’m second-guessing everything. My boyfriend said they really advertise my horrible eyesight. I feel like lenses are overpowering the frames, although I'm really happy with how the 1.74 index turns out as the lenses don't stuck out of the frames at all which has been an issue with past glasses.

I know smaller frames are the general advice with my level of nearsightedness but I feel like I don't see well out of the periphery, so I definitely do prefer a larger frame- looks wise as well, but maybe these are too big because i'm so blind.

Would love people's opinions!
