For context, instead of using the english version of the website I was on japanesse version with translation turned on.

The animal that is depicted in this scene is a Tapir. In japanese mythology there is a kind of Tapir called Baku (the name of the song is also Baku) that devour dreams and nightmare.

I get that Kaguya was introduced way before Boruto was even was written so her name could have been given to her without having a future naming convention on mind, but why doesn't Shibai's name end with shiki???

This has probably been pointed out, but a cool detail with the Shinjus is the fact that the color that they wear reference either the one whom they were created from or their target.

Hidari's yellow is the opposite of Sasuke's purple.

Matsuri's pink is the opposite of Moegi's green.

Mamushi's cool blue is the opposite of Bug's brown.

Jura's teal is the opposite of Naruto's orange. (He has no prototype)

The only outlier to this is Ryu, but white wouldn't kontrast well with the other Shinju, and green - the opposite of Gaara's red - would look too much like Jura's teal.
