Hi all, I am one of many users that have abandoned myfitnesspal because of their terrible update. It crippled the app and made it a misery to use. I have literally downloaded about 20 different apps and Lose It is the closest to perfection for me. The only thing it is missing is the ability to pick your weekly start day. I’m generally not too concerned about my daily calories, instead I try to stay in my weekly budget. This allows me some high days and some low days but as long as it averages out at the end of the week I’m good. With MFP it allowed me to customize my week to be from Wednesday through Tuesday. this coincided with my work schedule and really worked for me. I really wish Lose It would incorporate that functionality. Aside from that I am very impressed with the app so far.
I am a very structure-oriented person who doesn’t do well with change (autistic). Been a MFP user for years. Yo-yo’d, but this past year I’ve finally stuck to it and am down 30 lbs, with 40 more to go. But I am REALLY struggling this week. The new interface gives me anxiety and I’m having a hard time motivating myself to log in and just get used to it. I’m trying, but it’s a real struggle. It’s not easy and routine anymore. I want to give up and eat all the foods.
I literally have downloaded and tried 20+ apps over the past couple days. None of them are just right. I just want the old MFP back. I know there’s zero chance of that happening so that adds to my frustration. Please tell me I’m not alone! I hate this u/MyFitnessPal !
