Hey all — quick heads‑up for both new and long‑time Vine folks.
I’ve had a few of my recent reviews suddenly flagged as “Not Approved,” even though I’d already gotten the confirmation emails weeks ago saying they were accepted and live. When I clicked the “review” button to see what was going on, I got this pop‑up:
“We apologize but Amazon is not accepting reviews on this product from this account. For more information or to contact us, please see our community guidelines.”
After checking in with Rufus and doing a little digging, it looks like those sellers have quietly left the Vine program. The giveaway? The products still had plenty of reviews — just zero Vine reviews among them. And Rufus states “it shouldn’t mess with our review-to-order metrics”, hooray!!
So if you’re seeing reviews disappear or getting that weird pop‑up, it might not be you at all. The seller may have simply exited Vine. Hopefully this saves someone else from the brief moment of “review anxiety” I had this morning, lol.
