Trying to teach my 8m old how to use a straw cup but all she wants to do is chew on the straw. She chews with an open mouth and then water just dribbles out of her mouth.

We have the My First Years straw cup but I’m open to anything else that will help.

Also for sanity.. how long did it take for your kid to grasp drinking out of a straw?

Is there anything like Philadelphia’s Fair Workweek Law in MontCo? I know there’s nothing statewide.
