I recently accepted a position with a local ABA company, and I wasn't paying much attention during the phone call where they stated pay and such, but realized I had written down $400. The person interviewing me stated they will pay a flat rate of $400, no more and no less, for the 40-hour RBT training. My husband is not encouraging me to report them to the Department of Labor because, according to state laws, employers must pay the state's minimum wage for all employer-mandated trainings that benefit the employer and are required to get a job with that employer.
I don't want to overreact, but I also want to make sure I'm paid fairly.
After researching, this company is involved in multiple lawsuits regarding Medicaid fraud, violations of fair labor laws, patient care, and compliance issues. It looks like they've even sued their former Chief Compliance Officer.
Should I just quit before starting? I refuse to be taken advantage of, but I don't want to be held up in years-long court battles either.

My therapist wants me to start bullet point journaling, but I don't even know where to start.

Do I put how I'm feeling and time?

Do I put tasks I need to do or have completed?

Do I make a schedule?

I'm probably overthinking this, but I don't even know where to start, I usually write paragraphs upon paragraphs a few times a week.
