My first Guerilla Toss album arrived

After doing a deep dive into Guerilla Toss when I discovered on Spotify, I have started to collect their physical records. This just arrived and is ready for play. I love this band! I can't believe I went so many years without knowing about them. I usually don't hold on to hype stickers, but Losee Edition is save worthy. This was also my first Bandcamp Friday purpose. The first of many more.

Civil War era photo from The Photographic History of the Civil War publication

I have an interest in the Civil War and was thumbing through a photographic history set I have, published in 1911. I love the rail related photos and thought I would share this one. It is public domain so should be safe to post.

I have lived in the area for almost 20 years, and driven under this bridge hundreds of times, yet I never noticed the old Chesapeake and logo on the bridge. I thought it was kind of neat to see it intact and very visible, so I thought I would share.

For the record I snapped the photo while sitting at a red light.

I haven't had much time for games once my son came into the world, so though I was intrigued by this game when it was released I knew it wouldn't be worth the cost since I had no time for it.

I took advantage of Epic offering it for free a couple of days ago. I have about 2 hours invested and I feel like I haven't done anything.

My question is: Is the entire game just scripted dialogue and cinematic scenes? So far I have waited through what feels like hours of acting with little interaction. I understand the need to lay some things out and establish the story, but this has become dreadfully boring. I want to play, not watch.

I am an old school style gamer. I like to be confused at first and have to figure things out. The moment I get some action to cast a spell, I am then directed to talk to another professor. Oh great, more talking...

Anyway, I am wondering if I should expect this same pace, or will I actually be challenged if I keep playing?
