Copy the above list and state yes/no in front of the university name. If yes, state the severity of possible (severe, normal, minimal).
Give me the hard solid truth. No sugarcoating or fudging around.
Hey. So my younger sister is starting A/Ls this year (2028 AL). She hasn't gone to any classes yet, and is now going to start. Can you guys give recommendation for Biology, Physics and Chemistry? Location: Near Kandy or Kurunegala, or Online (is also okay). Medium is Sinhala. Though she is considering doing in English (as it will be advantageous for higher studies), but as you know resources in Sinhala medium are the highest.
I have been reading this sub and came across several posts (such as this one) about how great UCSC (University of Colombo School of Computing) is. Apparently it's even better than Pera/Japura engineering. So I should put UCSC above Pera/Japura engineering in the Unicode list? I checked the last year's Z-score cutoff for UCSC, and it's lower than those though. That doesn't make sense if UCSC is better. Can someone explain?
I did 2025 AL in Physical Science stream, with an IR of ~1200. So I have about a 50/50 chance of getting selected to either Pera or Japura. But I am thinking of putting Japura above Pera in my unicode list anyway due to several reasons.
Advantages of Japura;
Advantages of Pera;
I saw a similar post about Mora Vs Pera, but in my case the dilemma is about Japura Vs Pera (No, I don't intend to do A/Ls again). So which one should I choose?
Also Pera introduced a new direct intake program called Electronic and Intelligent Systems Engineering. What do you guys think about this?
