I won't go into too much detail, but my life recently fell apart because of my mother, and I had to leave home and take refuge somewhere else with my younger sisters, leaving all our belongings (including books), our house, and our lives behind. There have been days when, thanks to my Kindle, I've been able to keep reading and escape this reality. I'm so glad I got it before everything went to hell and brought it with me.
