SoI am in Ontario, Canada. Tow a 24’ travel trailer 5-6 times a year, never more than 3 hours away. Transmission started doing the slip and thunk very noticeably this winter.

I know it was time to service around 70,000km. Took it to ford dealer and they started talking about $250 for inspection, almost 500 for the flush. Then, if they find anything…..

So I took it to the best rated shop in my area. Not a lot of difference other than they don’t make me pay for the initial inspection. It’s up to over $9,600.

I am guessing Ford is not stepping up for any of this as they must know there is an issue? I’ve seen many posts about this here.
